Raising children can be challenging, not only because at certain ages they struggle so much with their own growth, but also because they activate parts of us we might find hard to look at.  This is often when I see parents in my office; when the parent has realized that the relationship with their child is suffering and they don’t know what to do.

Through practical interventions, an understanding of child development, combined with a thoughtful and curious exploration of how the parent is feeling when dealing with certain behaviors, we work together to regain equilibrium in your household.

My work with parents is informed by a number of experts; Dan Seigel, Alicia Lieberman, Dr. Ed Tronick, Dr. Brazelton among many others.  I have completed trainings with Peter Fonagy, Diane Reynolds, Alicia Leiberman and Dr. Ed Tronick.
